Senova Books is operated by Senova Systems LLC. Questions about this policy can be sent to support@senovasys.com.
Data you enter
Senova Books stores the account details you sign up with (name, email, a hashed password) and the bookkeeping records you create: contacts, invoices, bills, bank transactions, receipts and attachments. In this local evaluation build the data stays in the database and file storage on the machine that runs it.
Senova AI features
The AI features (Ask your books, receipt capture, bank categorisation suggestions, month-end summaries and reminder drafts) only run when the operator adds a Senova API key. When they run, the relevant ledger figures, transaction descriptions or uploaded receipt images are sent to the Senova AI API to produce the answer or draft. Nothing is posted to the ledger or emailed until a person confirms it.
Your choices
You can export or delete your organization's data from Settings. Leaving the Senova API key unset turns every AI feature off.
